OVERVIEW
Music Theory Studios is a hybrid business model which consists of a Music Technology Academy and an Audio Recording Studio. Our community driven Music Technology Academy based in Norfolk, Virginia supports and empowers all youth (that includes at risk, criminal, and group homes) ages 7 – 17 years. By diversifying our Science Technology Engineering Art Math and Music programs, our Music Production Academy provides diversity and vitality to our Virginia music & art communities. The Recording Studio side of the hybrid model allows for Sound Engineering & Post Production for major companies, podcasts, musicians, and educational institutions. The Recording Studio side allows for the company to increase its offerings of voice over and narrations. This audible source of content allows for an expanded delivery on such sites as Amazon and other audible sources.

MISSION
Music Theory Studios aims to nurture the creative, technology-based musician by way of educational programs that amplify opportunities for STEAMM enrichment in underrepresented communities in Hampton Roads, Virginia. MTS serves this mission by providing affordable technology-based education, safe and non-binary studio sessions, curating music education programs, courses, and events – all designed to increase personal vitality, and educational achievement in the pursuit of secondary education.

Our focus on teaching and learning have allowed more females to feel committed and confident in learning at our academy and music studios.
